Mother's Day

Mother's Day was a good one this year. We kept it nice and simple with bagels in the morning, replanted my hydrangea that Matt got me for our one year anniversary and had both sets of parents over for a BBQ.

Words cannot describe how much I love an afternoon spent at the beach. Today we chaced lady bugs and saved each other from snakes (pretend, of course). I love watching Nora's imagination blossom, and I must admit, being a part of her games is pretty fun!

copping with the heat

The past few days have been super hot so we filled the water table for Nora to play with. It was really cute how she got the brush and scrubbed it and how she held the water hoes to fill it. Naturally, she ended up in the water table and taking a little tumble out of it!
